![]() Grim Reaper Physiology: Their bodies are mere "puppets" of flesh made by Satan for their soul to inhabit and animate. Ashe, an unknown reaper, is noted by Satan to be his most powerful reaper "by almost double". Regardless of their level of control over their demons, Reapers can have various degrees of innate power, and Scarlet was noted to be particularly powerful, at least enough to damage Satan's body. ![]() Scarlet is apparently the fourth, but Satan tells that she is a replacement for a Reaper called Wrynn, as she failed to meet her daily quota and had to continue serving her sentence. Although it's not specified clearly what would be such circumstances, in the case of Brooks, he became a Reaper (although he was not a sinner) to avoid eternal punishment to his sister, which explain the lack of the Sinner's Mark on his body.Īccording to Miss Celeste, Satan is not allowed to have more than three Reapers, as there are three Archangels, revealing that Archangels and Reapers must have the same numbers. ![]() There are special circumstances for one to become a Reaper. However, it is revealed that Ashe's quota is actually a restriction, not a minimum. Some Reapers have more difficult quotas, with Ashe seemingly being required to kill a minimum of at least 10 sinners per day. (Example: Brooks had missed his quota and was dismembered by a demonic Scarlet, but Satan still repaired him and gave him another day, and he implies that he missed his quota multiple times in the past). However, if Satan wants to, he can grant them another chance. If the Reaper misses their assigned quota, it will be sent to their initial sentences in Hell. They can do other tasks if Satan choose to. They are usually tasked to kill one sinner per day, marked by a large red X spread across their chest, which can only be seen by Reapers. If the sinner accepts the deal, he will give them a new undying (but not invincible) body, an outfit, and will stitch a demon to their soul to grant them their Reaper powers. Once a sinner has died, if Satan so chooses to, he offers them to become a Reaper or going through their sentence. Reapers (also known as Grim Reapers) are sinners that are chosen by Satan to act as his executors.
